En route to the UK we stopped off in Hong Kong to see Stoksey.

We had a wonderful 3 days in Hong Kong - Phil had never been and I hadn't been back for a number of years. We stayed with my great university housemate Nick Stokes in his fab pad in Midlevels.

Crossing the Harbour on the Star Ferry with Stoksey.

On the first night Stoksey took us out to see the waterfront buildings of Hong Kong Island perform a Light Show. It was quite stunning - photos really don't do it justice!

Fitting in!

We went to a wonderful spicy restaurant after the light show, then stopped off to have a beer down in Lan Kwai Fong.

Family Lloyd used to live here (1979 - 1981) on the 8th floor of Paget House overlooking Wanchai. I loved Hong Kong as a little girl, and still do love it!

Daddy Lloyd used to be 2nd in command here at HMS Tamar when the Royal Navy had a base in HK. He got up to all sorts of mischief in boats.

Flats above Wanchai - it is incredible how closely together people live in HK.

Downtown Wanchai....busy busy busy.

Phil managed to sneak a game of footie in on Stoksey's Gweilo team.

Enjoying a delicious Dim Sum in Repulse Bay. We ate the most delicious meals with Stoksey.

Looking down at Central from the Peak.

Roar!

We went for a windy walk above Sheko.
